Community Outreach Programs

What makes a community thrive? It begins when people take that extra step past existence to involvement. It is that philosophy of concern for others that is reflected each year in the volunteer activity of National Mutual Benefit member volunteers.

Service projects exemplify the true spirit of Fraternalism - members reaching out to other members, nonmembers, and their communities by performing simple acts of kindness. National Mutual Benefit branches organize many fundraising and outreach activities through Community Outreach Grant Programs. This program enables National Mutual Benefit members, through active volunteering with their local branches, to support a community improvement activity, a youth activity focused on making the community better, a fundraising activity to assist a family in need, or assisting another nonprofit organization in helping people.
